Employment of Hairdressers, Hairstylists and Cosmetologists is projected to grow 10 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. The median annual wage for Cosmetologists was $27,710.00 in 2015.


Employment of Manicurists and Pedicurists is projected to grow 10 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. The median annual wage for Manicurists and Pedicurists was $20,820.00 in 2015.


Employment for Skin Care Specialists is projected to grow 12 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. The median annual wage for Skin Care Specialists was $30,090.00 in 2015.


Employment for Massage Therapists is projected to grow 22 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. Continued growth in the demand for massage services will lead to new openings for Massage Therapists. The median annual wage for Massage Therapists was $38,040.00 in 2015.
